Tony + Rhianna

I have known these two for quite a few years now and have been lucky enough to follow along with their story from the beginning. Honestly, these two could not be more perfect for each other. They are the kindest, most happiest people you will meet, they will always make you feel so welcome and appreciated. Not to mention how insanely good looking these two are.. am I right?!

Their wedding day was something else! Seriously, these two had all the details planned out perfectly. Nothing was over the top, it was just a perfect representation of the two of them. The day started at the beautiful new Brisbane hotel, The Calile, where Rhianna, her sisters, her mum and new mother in law spent the morning sipping on champagne and getting ready for the big day. Every corner of this hotel is stunning, with the incredible architecture and warm colour palette, it was easy to go hunting for photo spots. After a stroll around The Calile, I headed off to see Tony and capture a few of his details before the ceremony. The couple decided to have the ceremony and reception at a close family friend’s property, which made the whole day all that more intimate.

After a beautifully, understated and simplistic ceremony, where Tony’s phone went off during the ceremony (.. the only one who didn’t put his phone on silent), we drove down the road where the couple had scouted some bushland for portrait photos and spent some time alone, just the two of them, me and the mosquitos (worth every single bite).

The reception was low-key, with beautiful lights, food, drinks and music and the couple spent the night with their closest family and friends. Tony and Rhianna absolutely nailed their wedding. They paired it all back, focused on the important things and just had a beautiful day with the people they love most. I am so very glad I was there to capture it and tell their story through these images.
